Tricel Novo 12PE Sewage Treatment Plant

The Tricel Novo 12PE Sewage Treatment Plant is well known for its reliability and easy installation too. The Tricel Novo submerged aeration plant is suitable for domestic and light commercial or communal applications and uses simple proven fixed bed technology.

Each septic tank replacement system comprises 3 independent treatment zones, all fulfilling a different stage of the purification process.

How A Tricel Novo Works:

Stage 1: The primary chamber

Anaerobic breakdown occurs in the primary settlement chamber during the first stage of sewage treatment. The wastewater is added, and the solids settle to the bottom, separating the liquid from the solids.

Stage 2:  The aeration chamber

The aerobic breakdown is the next step in the wastewater treatment process. This occurs in the aeration chamber, where large populations of naturally occurring bacteria live in specially designed filter media.

Air, which is continuously supplied from a purpose-built pump in the unit’s top section, keeps the bacteria alive. The bacteria feed on the waste and remove it from the liquid as the liquid flows slowly through the filter media.

Stage 3:  Final settlement chamber

The liquid flows from the aeration chamber into the final settlement chamber in the final stage of wastewater treatment. Suspended sludge containing bacteria is carried into the settlement chamber with the liquid and settles to the bottom.

The sludge is then pumped back to the primary settlement chamber via a continuous sludge return system. The remaining treated liquid has now met the required standard for exiting the Tricel system safely.
